Gujarat's technical fee regulatory committee has introduced an ad hoc fee structure for 101 private engineering colleges, accommodating their demand for over 5% fee hikes for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year. The committee is working on regularizing fee structures for a three-year cycle, but the admissions process is already underway. An additional 17 newly established engineering colleges also received fee structures.
